This letter to Sara T. D. Robinson from her sister, Sophie D. S. Goddard, had been sent in care of Miss Emily I. Hunt, because of rumors that letters to the Robinsons and other prisoners were being confiscated without delivery. Goddard comments in general terms on a number of Kansas issues and developments, but her letter is one mostly to express concern for the plight of her sister.
