This black and white photograph shows diesel engine #260 and "sisters" from the Atchison, Topeka, and Santa Fe Railway Company pulling a manifest train ,a fast freight train hauling perishables or livestock, through Amarillo, Texas. "Sisters" are apparently additional power units to aid the locomotive.
