This pair of leather moccasins, possibly Siouan, is decorated with white, dark red, and dark blue beads in diamond and zig-zag patterns. The tongue or decorative tab is beaded with blue, red, yellow, green, and white beads in a linear pattern. The cuffs are covered with red blanket cloth, edged in beads and cotton binding, and sewn with sinew and cotton thread. Twisted leather thongs decorate the heel.
