These tools were recovered from Fort Atkinson in Ford County and donated to the Kansas Historical Society in 2015. Shown is a solid punch, used a hammer to drive objects or form an impression, a wedge-shaped riveting hammer head, and a wagon wrench. Fort Atkinson, occupied for only four years, was located along the Santa Fe Trail.
