These letters are from individuals associated with charitable and correctional institutions to Kansas Governor G. W. Glick. Relatives of hearing impaired individuals as well as people deemed "insane" wrote to Glick with questions about admission and of concern. Other subjects of the letters include prison labor, requests of investigations at the insane asylum, and reform school.
