This scrapbook was created by the Goddard Woman's Club of Kansas, which is an affiliate of the General Federation of Women's Clubs promoting civil, social and educational culture services to it's community. It contains correspondence, newspaper clippings, ephemera from club functions, a cigarette case, menus, certificates and a souvenir from the State Industrial Reformatory in Hutchinson, Kansas. Removed from the scrapbook is a general highway map of Kansas including scenic and historic sites across the state, prepared by the Kansas Department of Transportation. Topics include club events, functions and community service work in Goddard, Kansas, from 1949 to 1950.
