This postcard displays a woodcut illustration of the Brookville Hotel when it was known as the Central Hotel in Brookville, Kansas. Central Hotel was built in 1870 shortly after the Kansas Pacific Railroad reached Brookville. At the time of printing Helen Martin was the hotel's proprietor. The postcard advertises the Brookville Hotel's famous "family style chicken dinners."
