These fifteen photographs of the petroleum industry in Allen County, Kansas show oil wells, refineries, and various related equipment. One photo, taken November 11, 1918, shows Geroge B. McLeod's "liberty Well" No. 1. Another image is Well 5, Power Oil, Gas, and Coal Company. Several images show groups of people visiting the oil wells.
