A small pamphlet with photographs and statistics for members of the Topeka Owls baseball team and information on and photographs of KJAY radio announcers, including Merle Harmon who became a nationally known sportscaster. In 1949, the Owls baseball team was a locally owned team and played in the Western Association league. Kansas players on the team included Jack Bell, Salina; Johnny Bulkley, Reading; Jack Dean, Harveyville; Alec Grieves, Burlingame; Bob Lee, Topeka; Dick McConnell, Topeka; Jerry Neimitz, Marysville, Dick Pahmahmie, Mayetta; and Ed Wilson, Topeka.
