These four black and white photographs show the aftermath of a destructive tornado in Lawrence, Kansas. In the first photograph people are standing in front of what remains of the town's paper mill. The second photograph is a view of damage to the Millers Lumber Yard and nearby business. In the third photograph a birds-eye view captures the overall damage to the town. The fourth photograph, looking south on Massachusetts Street, is a view of debris and destruction to downtown businesses.
