An older man who appears to be an instructor is visible towards the right side of the picture, and two younger men who appear to be students are visible towards the center and left side of the picture. The glass case visible in the right foreground contains a variety of pharmacy tools and containers. The shelves in the background are filled with bottles of chemicals and pharmacy supplies. The man near the center of the picture is using a mortar and pestle to mix a prescription.
