A photograph of Paul Patell, an early settler of Rossville, Kansas. In the 1880s he had a carpenter and wagon shop. He is pictured in Unit ID 99730 cruising around Rossville in his boat after a flood. This photograph is provided through a pilot project to host unique cultural heritage materials from local libraries on Kansas Memory and was accomplished by mutual agreement between the Northeast Kansas Library System, the Rossville Community Library, and the Kansas Historical Society.
