This Presbyterian church was built around 1883. It was made of red bricks which were made at a brick kiln located at the east edge of town. The church was torn down due to cracks between the bricks and a new one built in 1917. This photograph is provided through a pilot project to host unique cultural heritage materials from local libraries on Kansas Memory and was accomplished by mutual agreement between the Northeast Kansas Library System, the Rossville Community Library, and the Kansas Historical Society.
