Letter written from Washington, D.C. to Governor James W. Denver describing Robinson's acquisition of a Lecompton town share and his prospects for selling it at a profit. Robinson discusses the possibility of Kansas being admitted as a state under the Lecompton Constitution and also refers to the Democratic Party's assessment of Denver's performance as Kansas Territorial governor.
