This photographs show the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway Company's steam locomotive #592 at Thatcher, Colorado. The train consisted of mail, express, baggage, smoker, day coach, tourist sleeper, and San Francisco, Los Angeles, and El Paso Pullman cars. It left Albuquerque, New Mexico, at 1:40 AM and arrived in La Junta, Colorado, at 5:45 PM, for a running time of about 16 hours.
