This photograph shows a view of personnel offices on the ground floor at the Kansas State Historical Society in Topeka, Kansas. The individuals are identified from left to right as follows: John Speer, Dr. Smith, Miss Zu Adams, and Mrs. Esmeralda Lasher. For nearly forty years the Historical Society was located in various rooms of the state capitol until 1914 when collections were moved to the Memorial Building in downtown Topeka, Kansas.
