These dish fragments are what is left of someone's prized serving dishes on a farmstead in Brown County. Shown are a porcelain serving bowl handle, a porcelain rim with gilded silver decoration, and two glass pieces, one with a pressed design and the other with frosted bands. The site included the remains of two building foundations and an extensive artifact scatter. It was first occupied between 1856 and 1877 and the buildings were abandoned by 1960.

Date: 1856-1960
