This black and white photograph shows a rear view of an Atchison, Topeka & Santa Fe Railway Company's stainless steel observation car with 'The Chief' drum head. This train was an all Pullman streamliner, which ran from Los Angeles, California, to Chicago, Illinois. The photograph was taken in Shoemaker Canyon, New Mexico.
