A series of photographs showing the Ramsay fire that took place in Atchison, Kansas, in 1949. The photographs show street scenes of the fire, some buildings that were burned and damaged, including the Nash store, as well as the efforts to put out the fire. The photographs were taken by Hazel Purdum, a resident of Atchison, Kansas. Digitization funded by the National Historical Publications and Records Commission through the Kansas State Historical Records Advisory Board.
