These scrapers were recovered from the surface of a Smoky Hill aspect archeological site and donated to the Kansas Historical Society in 2020. The scrapers may have been hafted onto a handle and used to scrape hides. They would have required periodic resharpening. The site, in Saline County, was occupied during the Middle Ceramic period.
