This arrow point was collected from an archeological site along the Big Blue River in Johnson County and donated to the Kansas Historical Society in 2020. The Cornfield III site is what archeologists call multicomponent, meaning it had multiple occupations through the Early and Middle Ceramic periods. This side notched arrow point, with weak shoulders and damaged on one side, would have come from the earlier period.
