These arrow points were recovered from the Fanning site in Doniphan County and donated to the Kansas Historical Society in 1981. Shown are unnotched triangular arrow points which archeologists identify as Fresno arrow points (ca. 1500-1700 CE), and a single side notched arrow point generally dated to an earlier period (ca.1000-1500 CE) than triangular points. The Fanning site was a Late Ceramic to early Contact period Kansa village.
