This small clear glass bottle sherd displays part of an unusual decoration or bottle maker's mark. The sherd was recovered during excavations at Constitution Hall in Lecompton. Shown is a partial keystone shape with and eye and eyebrow. Constitution Hall was constructed in 1855 and functioned in a variety of different roles, including as a meeting place for several lodges. Do you think this small sherd could have been part of a lodge's regalia?
