These pottery sherds were recovered from an archeological site in Johnson County and donated to the Kansas Historical Society in 2006 and 2007. The one on the left is a grit tempered rim sherd with vertical cord marks on the surface. The body sherd on the right is also grit tempered and decorated with cord marking.
