These pottery rim sherds were recovered from a site in Mitchell County that was occupied by people of the White Rock Oneota, a Late Prehistoric (1000-1650 CE) archeological complex. One rim is decorated with tool impressed marks and the others are decorated with series of punctates. The site was excavated by the University of Nebraska and the collection was donated to the Kansas Historical Society in 1987.
