This set of photographs show scenes from Kansas Governor William Henry Avery's administration, 1965-1968. The first photograph shows Governor Avery with Luann Nelson, the Kansas Angus Queen, and Renee Wassenberg from Baileyville, Kansas, at the 1966 Kansas National Junior Livestock show. The second image shows the governor at the May 22, 1965 farm tour. The third photograph shows the governor speaking to an unidentified group. The last image shows the governor with members of his staff.
