This photograph shows six-axle roadswitchers SD24's with zebra stripe paint, built by Electro-Motive Diesel (EMD), for Atchison, Topeka, & Santa Fe Railway Company. An engine, in front of ATSF Railway Company #908, is being loaded with sand, which was used to increase adhesion to the rails. Another switcher engine with zebra paint (GP7 #2676) is in the background. This photograph was taken by Orville Brent.
