This photograph shows a side view of highway equipment used in the Atchison, Topeka, & Santa Fe Railway Company piggy-back service. This type of combined transportation service is generally referred to as TOFC, or trailer-on-flat-car, in the railroad industry. It is also known as intermodal transport--involving more than one form of transportation.
