This is a postcard of the Miami County Courthouse in Paola, Kansas. The three-story building designed by architect George P. Washburn was constructed between 1898 and 1899. Designed with a mixture of Romanesque and Victorian styles. The structure features square tower blocks with pyramidal shape roofs and arched stone windows. In 1973 the courthouse was listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
