These illustrations depict prominent farms, public buildings, educational institutions, parks, stock yards, and businesses in the counties represented in the Official Atlas of Kansas. The atlas notes that the sketches were completed by experienced artists with the express purpose to be published in the Official Atlas of Kansas. Not every illustration found in the original atlas may be represented here. Images of the county maps in the Official Atlas of Kansas can be found at item number 305692.
