These two bottles were recovered from a historic site during an archeological survey by a Kansas Historical Society archeologist in 2010. The larger bottle has a cork with a clear glass applicator present. On the base is an unknown bottle marker's mark of a triangle with a "M" or "W" present. The smaller bottle shows the maker's mark of the Owens Illinois Glass Company. It was manufactured between 1938 and 1948 in Toledo, Ohio. The site, in Crawford County, is a sink hole that was later used as a dump.
