This glass plate negative shows the Power House in Russell, Kansas. In 1910 the city of Russell, Kansas hired Burns and McDonnell to design and oversee the construction of the building. The one-story structure had dimensions of 67 feet by 41 feet with a ceiling height of 11 feet. The interior was finished with plastering and included a granite rock flooring. When completed the cost of the building came to $62,950. The structure no longer stands.
