This painted Christmas card by Richard Richard, illustrates a building at the Shawnee Indian Mission in Fairway, Kansas. Identified on the back of the card as the West Building at the Mission. Printed inside the card is an explanation of the Mission and its history along with a holiday greeting. In 1968, the Shawnee Indian Mission was declared a National Historic Landmark and has since been under the operation of the Kansas Historical Society.
