The documents in this file regard elections for the vacancy in the 37th senatorial district. There is a letter from E.B. Congill to Kansas Governor St. John inquiring if there will be an election to fill the vacancy in the 37th senatorial district. Another document outlines the resolution of the 37th senatorial committee requesting Kansas Governor St. John to issue a proclamation for an election for the state senator to succeed J. C. Strong.
