A remonstrate from residents in Pratt County, Kansas informs the Governor they have heard of efforts to organize their county. In the petition the residents list reasons against the organization of their county. This is important because being organized means that a county can have provisions such as local law enforcement, the county judicial system, the recording of legal documents by a register of deeds, and the construction and maintenance of roads, parks, etc.
