There are petitions from citizens requesting Kansas Governor St. John designate either Millbrook, Hill-City, or Gettysburg, Kansas as temporary County Seat. Other letters inform the Governor that names have been fraudulently added to certain petitions. This includes, a petition to the Governor to have the following names listed removed from the Gettysburg petition.
