There are several letters and a petition that requests the Governor appoint R. P. Kelley of Eureka, Kansas, as the Regent of the Agricultural College. A separate petition requests the Governor appoint Charles H. Lewis of Miami County, Kansas, as one of the Board of Regents of the Agricultural College.
