In Eliza's letter, she explains she has no money to pay for her child to attend school and asks the Governor if there is a provision to assist them. A letter from Superintendent C. K. Wiles informs the Governor he has written to Eliza and Nichols providing them with all the necessary information, he states that at current the school is at capacity and there are fifty applications before Eliza and Nichols.
