A letter from Superintendent S. T. Walker informs Kansas Governor Humphrey the school needs more rooms, a chapel, assembly rooms, and an industrial building, as the number of students, have increased at the school. A letter from Walker concerning salaries paid to Superintendents of similar Institutions. A separate letter from Walker discusses the passage of Senate Bill 155 he informs Governor Humphrey other states such as Illinois and Iowa are governing under similar laws for their schools for the Deaf.
