The letters in this file pertain to matters concerning the Board of Trustees for the Charitable Institutions. A letter from one of the members of the Board of Trustees writes to tender his resignation to Kansas Governor Humphrey. A separate letter from L. K. Kirk informs the Governor that the board is investigating locations to build an institution. One of the documents is a service manual of the State Insane Asylum. There is a report of a complaint made against the management of the Asylum.
