This letter, dated February 25th, 1886, is from Martin Yates regarding a candidate for the 23rd Judicial District judge, David Rathbone, to Kansas Governor John Martin. Yates wrote enclosing a transcription of a Criminal Action document against Rathbone. The Criminal Action document charged Rathbone with sexual assault.
