These telegrams, spanning March through April 1886, are from county sheriffs, the Adjutant General, district attorneys, and other individuals regarding the Missouri Pacific Railroad Strike to Kansas Governor John Martin. They discuss the conditions of the strike including the number of increasing strikers (1,000), the length of the strike, the proclamation issued by the governor, the enforcement of the laws by the sheriff, and the support needed (i.e.- a militia).
