These letters, spanning May 1885, are from railroad strikers, government officials, railroad companies, and other individuals regarding the Missouri Pacific Railroad Strike to Kansas Governor John Martin. They wrote explaining the conditions and demands of the strike as well as advising for a successful end to the strike. Among the letters, there are petitions with the strikers' demands.
