These letters, spanning 1885, are from the Executive Department and the Senate Chamber as well as Kansas Governor John Martin regarding legislature matters. The Executive Department and the Senate Chamber wrote to governor Martin about the confirmed appointment of state officials, pardons, appropriations, and resolutions. Governor Martin wrote to the Senate approving resolutions and Senate Bills, which were on such subjects as crimes and punishment, land, taxes, education, counties, funding, etc.
