These letters, spanning 1887, are from the governor of the state of Louisiana, S. D. McEnery, and other individuals regarding the Interstate Agricultural Convention to Kansas Governor John Martin. McEnery explains the convention and asks for delegates. Other letters discuss the appointment of delegates. The Interstate Agricultural Convention was held in Lake Charles, Louisiana on February 22nd, 1887.
