These two letters, dated May 1st, 1888 and May 18th, 1888, are from the International Perpetual Exposition Company commissioners regarding their company's permanent exposition in Chicago, Illinois to Kansas Governor John Martin. The commissioners wrote to the governor explaining the International Perpetual Exposition Company and asking for the state of Kansas' participation in the permanent exposition.
