These letters, spanning 1885 to 1887, are from out-of-state officials as well as Kansas officials regarding criminal requisitions to Kansas Governor John Martin. Kansas officials wrote to request requisitions on out-of-state criminals and cases connected to Kansas. They also wrote about receiving requests for requisitions and enclosing information to fulfill those. Other letters from out-of-state officials, like governors particularly from Arkansas and Nebraska, wrote requesting requisitions for criminals and cases in Kansas connected to their state. There are also official applications for requisitions among the letters.
