These letters, spanning 1885 to 1887, are from out-of-state officials as well as Kansas officials regarding criminal requisitions to Kansas Governor John Martin. Kansas officials wrote to request requisitions on out-of-state criminals and cases connected to Kansas. They also wrote about receiving requests for requisitions and enclosing information to fulfill those. Other letters from out-of-state officials, like governors particularly from Arkansas, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Texas, and Missouri, wrote requesting requisitions for criminals and cases in Kansas connected to their state.
