This letter, dated January 1st, 1888, is from C. J. Brown, the Kansas Supreme Court clerk, regarding cases to Kansas Governor John Martin. Brown discussed the amount of cases filed for the Kansas Supreme Court. The amount increased from 454 cases in 1886 to 698 cases in 1888.
