These letters, spanning 1888, are from members of the State Board of Silk Commissioners regarding their general affairs to Kansas Governor John Martin. The board wrote providing reports on silk production, expenditures, staff discharges and salaries, and infrastructure. The Silk Commission was established in 1887.
